About the song, from Byron: In summer of 2021, Larry and his wife invited me to house and pet sit while they went on vacation. We started recording in Larry's studio where his drums were all setup, with balanced sound, ready to record. Larry then invited me to stay the summer, and No Stopping was the beginning of our multiple-drummer sound. No Stopping was an instrumental at first, no lyrics, and had been through several titles. I had a finished song, as it was, on my old 4-track analog masters. We were going to start from scratch, do the song over from the ground up. I recorded three takes of Larry jamming to the old recording, then we planned to start over from his drums and add tracks, or as they say, overdub, one instrument at a time. I told Larry, “This is the song for all those amazing drum riffs you've been rehearsing.” He wailed on the drums! In fact, he was jamming so hard on take that there was No Stopping at the end he kept going a bit too long. That's why at the end of the song you can hear him say from a different take, "I hit the ending." Then we didn't finish the song. It seemed like the original tracks just had something worth keeping. So, one day Larry is watching an Eric Clapton live video on the TV, and they had three drummers on stage. I said, “I want four drummers!” That gave us the idea to use both drum tracks together, and the alternating drum solos. This song really came together, all the parts. Nevertheless, I always felt this was Larry's drum song, where he got to cut loose, and you can hear, he's a top-notch drummer.

After many crazy ideas, I finally wrote lyrics that fit the energetic mood of the music. I had no vocal melodies written and decided to give the song and lyrics to Anna V. She had already finished brilliant singing on Spinning 'round the Sun Parts 1 & 2, and I knew that she likes to write melodies. Once again Anna amazed me. Not just the cool melodies and feel she brought to No Stopping, but I found out the girl can rock & roll!

Most of the synths were done recently on guitar synth, except the keyboard solo in the instrumental section. That solo, all the way through the helicopter sound was recorded years ago on the 4-track, using a Korg Poly 61 that my friend loaned me to record. It's amazing the mixing together of a few old sounds with new tracks.

Computer recording has come a long way. This entire project, all the technology involved, the inventors and vendors ... I feel it's like standing on the shoulders of giants. I would not be able to share my music were it not for so many people before.
